$250,000 Lamborghini Huracan found abandoned in a ditch

Now who left that there? A purple Lamborghini Huracan was found in a roadside ditch north of London on Friday, but its driver was nowhere to be found.

The $250,000 supercar was photographed by cameraman Andrew Laurence, who was on his way to work when he spotted it early in the morning.

"The car was facing the wrong way and was on the wrong side of the road in the ditch,Ē Laurence told SWNS.

"It must have spun off the road during the night.Ē

The right-hand-drive coupe had its driverís side door jammed against the ground, but Laurence found it was empty went to see if anyone was stuck inside.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said it got reports that a vehicle had left the road around 1.30 am Friday, but that no one was present when they arrived to investigate and that it was still working to establish who the owner is.

Laurence noted that the location of the accident was just a couple of miles from the training ground for the Totteham Hotspurs English Premier League soccer club, and that many of the players drive around the area in exotic cars.

I suppose if you can afford one, you can have it in any color you want. But for God's sake, purple?

It's not the same.

Okay, I put my foot in my mouth. But still, that Lambo should be anthracite grey metallic or boulevard black.

Where's my checkbook?

Donít do red itís a nice colour but all the accidents Iíve had, have been in and on red vehicles.

Itís a colour you love or hate.

Had a few comments it reminds people of the 80ís hot wheels

Bit of an issue at moterway services if the tourist coaches pull in they all want photos.

All started as I needed my alloys sorted couldnít afford new so got them powder coated purple. Then Stirling got a spray tan. Iíve already been offered £10,000 over the cost of the car and respray but heís mine.

Exhaust next then seats need some purple. Aveldu is already rolling his eyes.

Its a fact that a red car gets more attention from police than other colors. Mars Red could also be called "Just give me the ticket, officer" red. The border patrol (I'm six miles from the Mexican border) eyeball it pretty closely. Maybe I look like a drug lord.

Will you have the leather dyed purple or get fabric?

Worked at police hq Iíve had a variety of cars the bobbies have checked out but I regurally got veichle checked in my back Honda CR-V did have blacked out windows but I class it as an old persons car he he.

I donít know yet as the ones Iíve seen would need me replacing the whole interior so Iím thinking replacing the middle strip of leather as a cheap option. But I originally wanted cream interior but settled for the best car not how it looked.

UK police play car snooker.

White to begin.
Then Red, white again and now any colour.
Back to white, red any colour (Black, pink, blue, brown, green, yellow in order of preference).

Not true snooker rules but keeps them occupied.

So orange, purple, etc are good colours to have.
