Unhappy Another part of my Life came to an end today

Well I guess it is official as of today I am out of the Heckflosse Restoring Hobby.

A member from the Heckflossen Forum came by today in his 300 SD W116 and picked up all my remaining parts that I had laying under the Bed in the backyard and the Garage. We pretty much filled up the SD the trunk was full parts on the roof and he barely could squeeze behind the wheel. I pretty much gave away all the parts that I had laying around to help him support his Restoration of a HeckFlosse Universal

(his looks about as bad as the one in the picture)

Made by Binz.

He will keep what he got use for sell the rest of on Ebay and take the remaining $$$ to rescue dogs and find them new owners. He is a pretty cool kid so I had no problem to support his habit.

To make this moment bittersweet by luck I found my old Flosse on CL today that I pretty much gave away 2 years ago ( sold it cheap because it did not have an Engine) He now asks for 11K. There is my Sign.......not to have a Mercedes as a hobby again. Well my Betty is happy that all that old junk is out of the house she just told me.

Yep you can call me a Donut now.

A Berliner Pfannkuchen (referred to as Berliner for short) is a traditional German pastry similar to a doughnut with no central hole, made from sweet yeast dough fried in fat or oil, with a marmalade or jam filling and usually icing, powdered sugar or conventional sugar on top. They are sometimes made with chocolate, champagne, custard, mocha, or advocaat filling, or with no filling at all.

As JFK once said “Ich bin ein Berliner” (I am a donut)
