Whatever happened to just LEARNING TO DRIVE ! ! Nowadays you need to be a shuttle pilot.

My first was a '64 Belair straight 6 with 3 on the tree. Wheel, gas, clutch, brake and side/rear view mirror.

Pay attention around you and away you go

Ha I DONT. The less things the car has the less likely something will break. I am more than capable of looking at my mirrors vs hoping a radar sensor hasn't gotten a short and not working. The only tech I look for is Gs on the skidpad and top speed.

I had a 69 Rambler for a while last year. ended up requiring more of the work I'm not good at (interior).

You could drop a spare tire between the engine and frame rails... so much room and nothing in the way! The only technology that thing had was an autozone tachometer!

My neighbor wanted to buy it from me to "teach his son how to drive a real car"... then he ends up buying his kid a 2016 Honda Civic.
