Not sure which I find more disturbing, the driving or the fact that informing on one's fellow citizens has become yet another tool of government surveillance in the UK.

If you don’t drive like a dipstick you have nothing to worry about . With not enough police around it’s the only way to get these idiots off our roads . That is as long as the police follow it up.

What would you prefer?

a) informing on fellow citizens to stop them crashing in to cars and people

b) not informing on fellow citizens and allowing them to crash in to cars and people

Surely, it is a given that the only people being informed on are idiotic drivers

I suppose to widen this, if someone saw a known person breaking in to your home and taking items would you want that person to inform the authorities as to who carried out the break in?

Thumbs up

I think the reason Paul made his comment about people informing bad behavior to the government is because on this side of the pond, the politics of government and people has become very unpleasant. Sarge, this is not meant to be a political commentary so please don’t delete this. Your side the pond has a completely different approach towards policing the laws. It’s not meant to be done punitively.
