A Life-Sized, Drivable Bugatti Chiron Made Entirely from LEGOs

To promote their Technic line of interconnecting gear and rod sets, LEGO used over one million LEGO Technic pieces to create a full-sized LEGO version of a Bugatti Chiron luxury supercar that can actually be driven.
"When we say with LEGO Technic you can BUILD FOR REAL, we really mean it! Here’s our amazing 1:1 version of the iconic Bugatti Chiron. Not only does it look like the real thing, it also drives as well – and to prove it we took it for a spin on the same German track where Bugatti do their testing."

The Bugatti is sweet but the RR Engine might be a little more of a challenge to built.

Created by DanCodd, the Rolls-Royce UltraFan – The Ultimate Jet Engine is a very detailed look at a serious machine, something capable of delivering 100,000 brake horsepower. That’s some serious grunt!

The blades are also able to rotate to show how the engine works. It looks pretty fantastic, and it will be interesting to see if this idea gets to the shelves.

Technic Bugatti Chiron Official Announcement

It’s big, and looks to continue the line of large scale, highly detailed Technic vehicles that started with 42056 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. It’s also got a big price tag, with the 3599 piece set coming in at AU $599.99 – DE €369.99 – UK Ł329.99 – US $349.99. It will be available at LEGO Shop at Home and LEGO Brand Retail stores

That’s not cheap, but for car fans, this looks like a stunning vehicle. Sure, it’s not a smooth finish, but that’s incredibly difficult to achieve in Technic form. I’ve not got a copy of the Porsche, but this model looks equally as good. It’s got beautiful shaping, and is unmistakable as the Bugatti Chiron.

I am not a huge fan of all the lego kits that come with pieces cut and formed to look like a specific thing. Legos are all about using your imagination. These kits take that away.

The full size one is amazing but the kit is all preset pieces.
