Do you find yourself...

Noticing every convertible on the road now?

Talking to yourself in any car you're driving while observing traffic and saying "oh look at that mod"

See someone with a convertible top UP in sunny weather and unconsciously mumble names under your breath at them..

See the MB star and suddenly become a little nicer allowing them into traffic or into your merge lane?

----------
My worst offense thus far? calling other drop top owners names under my breath for not having the top down. I have turned into an obsessed convertible owner. I admit it.

Thank you MB!

Yes,
Yes,
Yes,
and yes.

I find it funny that in the Northwest of the U.S. we have about a 5 month window of warm weather good for top down driving. Yet I see people driving around all the time with their tops up.

Maybe they're just trying not to have a bad hair day.

I haven't had a bad hair day for 20 years! However, during the peak of the summer heat I do put the top up for a few minutes occassionaly just to dry out the south 40 with a little AC....then back down. I've found this technique especially useful on extremely long road trips....prevents chaffing!

For the UK we've had scorching weather today and yesterday and I've seen loads of convertibles out. However I have also been amazed to see many with their tops up - WHY? Why do you have a convertible in the UK and keep it up in this weather?? Madness!

And I have a perfectly managed quiff going on, top down, with an extra squirt of hairspray before I go out (and a can in the boot for emergencies).

I do not understand why people have convertible cars and keep their tops up. What is the point? "Oh yes, I COULD put my top down, but I choose not to".

Worse are those with the tops up, and the windows OPEN!!!

Yes, and think they should all be hardtops and not ragtops,

Yes, I've mod every car that I've owned besides SUV's and minivans. I admire nicely modded cars.

Yes, drives me nuts actually, I don't blame them if it's really hot, the sun up at 5280 ft can burn your skin.

Not really, if you use your blinker, I will let you in. C class are everywhere here, don't even noticed them sometimes. Lately, I've noticed every Porsche, new or old.

I think a lot of rag tops are manually lowered and they cant be bothered to do it Even two seaters that never seen to be topless amazes me. The ones I notice are the small "family" cars with folding roofs seem to be more in use around here

Yes, and look at the marques now.

Getting there now that I'm thinking about my own and my eye s becoming more discerning.

No, because weirdly most people is mostly sunny Melbourne don't have the tops down in any weather!

Definitely no, because I think that most other MB drivers apart from me are probably self obsessed wankers! (granted that's harsh and will change).
