Exclamation A WARNING for all of us

Hi,

The owner of this Low mileage - Only 78,000 - 2001 CLK Convertible treasured his vehicle as you can see.

Until the day when he left the Battery BOOSTER PACK in his boot.

The result was very nasty -

A TOTAL WRITE OFF GOOD ONLY FOR SCRAPPING & PARTS.

Let that be an example to us. The moment we stop rembering the power wrapped up in these electric "bombs" it can have untold consequences.

Particularly the Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) Type.

[Several aircraft crashes have been attributed to burning Li-Ion batteries. UPS Airlines Flight 6 crashed in Dubai after its payload of batteries spontaneously ignited, progressively destroying critical systems inside the aircraft which eventually rendered it uncontrollable.]

NEVER LEAVE A BATTERY BOOSTER IN YOUR CAR OR IN YOUR HOUSE OR GARAGE IF ATTACHED TO HOUSE

Boy, you are prepared aren't you

If you carry one (three?) with you, consider a hitch and

You could even carry a spare tire in there.
