It's called tracking, standard cross wind landing!!!!
Just as you touch down you KICK the pedals to straighten the plane up! I did a perfect one once with an instructor!!
On my second solo I was sent up in a 10kt crosswind! On landing I realised I was running out of runway sideways, so decided to overshoot!
Then I realised I was rapidly running out of airspeed (and air!) due to having the flaps down! Luckily, due to my training, I remembered to quickly lower the nose and off I went!! Phew!! I decided then to leave it to the pro's!!
A friend of mine is a FO on Emirates A380's - fantastic pilot. We once almost came to grief when our Cessena 150 threw a pot just after take off! He got us back down (complete with fire engines to meet us!) no problem, but it was a scary moment!
These professional pilots ARE GOOD!!
