Cool Parts Sources ???

Hello Group: I was wondering if anyone has used GETMERCEDESPARTS.COM as a source for their Genuine Mercedes Parts need. If so, can you recommend them, did you have a positive experience with them?

I also learned of ECS Tuning as a source for Genuine Tune Up parts, oils, gasket and filter kits etc. I'm thinking of purchasing my Tranny oil, filter, and gaskets from them.

Any reputable online Parts Source recommendations would be well appreciated

Michael,

This thread is posted in the Off Topic section along with your Mickey Died thread. Not sure if that is where you intended for them to be. If you want them moved you can ask a moderator to move it for you.

For parts I use a couple of reliable sources. My first stop is always RockAuto where I look for OE suppliers or other quality manufacturer for the parts I am looking for (note: the CPS is listed under Ignition on RA). Sometimes, I will find what I am looking for on Amazon. Having the MB part number is helpful in the search. If it turns out to be a dealer only part then I use mbdirectparts.com. HTH

Ive used them before.... The online parts that are affiliated with mercedes dealerships all have spotty delivery times and poor online order status. They don't communicate status updates well either. But they usually get it right - eventually. The best thing is that you're usually dealing with an MB employee who knows the parts. I've used ECS and I like them. Pelican has good how-to docs that can be helpful, I support them for that alone, but I did have one interesting issue with a return. I also have used FCP Euro quite a bit. It's amazing sometimes the price differences for the exact same part!

I've had fast shipping and very good pricing from partsgeek.com

Saved a ton of money on an electronic modular I needed.
Hope you get Mickey healthy again soon!
