Angle Grinder

Straight forward question:

Can I use a 4 1/2" cut off wheel (or a 4 1/2" grinding wheel) in a 5" grinder?

Mr Google tells me nothing.

Thanks.

Sure can if the arbor size is correct . Note check the cutoff wheel packaging or printed warnings on the cutoff wheel .

Cutoff wheels are the trick to many many problems .
