New Keys

So a co-worker here just bought a Volvo S60 for about $4,000. Apparently the car only came with 1 key and 1 FOB. He called the Volvo dealer and asked for a second set and found it to cost $420! He said, "The keys cost more than 10% of this car?". I told him that at this rate, if he loses the key, he might as well sell the car off for parts.

Then I asked him to find the battery in his car and tell me when he has found it. He does not have the manual, and is still looking for it. I haven't heard from him in 3 days now.

...ummmm... under the hood? pretty rare for a street car to have it in the trunk (for balance).
