Audi TT Swerving Through Highway Traffic Shows Why Driving Isn’t for Everyone

Nowadays people tend to forget the difference between a privilege and a given right. For example, if you think about the vast mass of drivers out there, we have a strange feeling that most of them, when asked, will say that driving is one of their rights and not a privilege.

To them, maybe we should point out that in countries such as the United Arab Emirates or most of the Middle East, women are still struggling when it comes to getting behind the wheel. That is something that should give some childish people a thing or two to think about.

Take this irresponsible man for example. What he is doing on this highway should be called attempted murder and only blind luck made it so that he didn’t cripple or kill anyone in his stupid attempt to show off. Why am I saying he’s showing off?

Maybe he was just in a rush, right? Well, if that were the case, maybe he wouldn’t have had the time needed to install a camera on the dash, right? As things stand, though, it’s rather hard to think that his actions and the fact that he decided to publish this video on Youtube are not connected in any way.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any revealing shots of the car but by the looks of the interior and the video’s description we can tell you that this is most likely a previous-gen TT with the 2.0 TFSI engine under the bonnet, making 211 HP and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque.

Coupled with a weight of 1,455 kg (3,208 lbs) and possibly the quattro all-wheel-drive system, the small Audi does allow its driver to sneak through extremely tight spaces but under no circumstances is this kind of behavior acceptable. Either way, we’d like to hear your hear your take on this: is this man skilled, lucky or downright crazy?

Nothing clever here.
What is impressive, is the number of 'gaps' that he rushes through only exist because other motorists are doing a good job of maintaining situational awareness, using their mirrors, and see him coming from behind and generously make room for him to get through. It take a lot of mature drivers to all make space for one foolish driver.

" is this man skilled, lucky or downright crazy?"
Probably all of the above! Skilled, in so much as he doesn't lose it. Lucky that none of the motorists he passes do anything stupid in front of him. Downright crazy to post the clip for all to see how bad a driver he really is and for him to think it was smart thing to do.
Annoyingly, guys like this get away with that sort of atrocious driving, whilst I've been ticketed for doing slightly over the limit on an empty road in the dead of night.
