For JeffreyJ - yup another bear thread

Wild bear comes to breakfast

A Utah cabin owner had a big surprise at breakfast when a black bear opened the door and walked inside.

Wild bear comes to breakfast -
I just can't bear to hear that the bear was knocked out in the backyard and than transported to a far away place and then awakened. Imagine his confusion, discombobulation and despair. Frankly, that is a cruel act and according to some studies contributes to early onset of Alzheimer in bears. tsk tsk tsk to all involved.

Well, pardon me

For reviving this thread........I just could not bear to let it die. This was dug up from last year trip to the Swiss Alps, specifically Andermatt in Canton Uri (William Tell country, for you history buffs!) . The bear was seen by a number of people so it can not be an optical delusion. And you should admire my bravery as I was not sure how tame was this bear and how close I could stand to him.
