Acura First Service
I bought a new Acura TSX on sale a few months back for GF to use as a winter car. (My 2003 Accord is still good for me.) I changed to my winter snow tires last week but did not have time to change hers. Yesterday she decided to go to Whistler (ski mountain) so said she would stop by the Acura dealer and get the first tune-up and have the all-season tires taken off and put winter tires on (they came with a second set of wheels with the car).
Wow on the service. They gave her tea, a newspaper to read, were on time for her appointment made just 2 hours earlier, explained what was to be done, asked if she had time for them to wash the car, mentioned the old oil looked good etc. With the car wash, she was in and out in about an hour. She called to ask me if $18 was right for the tire change and I said thats a bit high but...
So today I went to put the invoice in her car records and it was $29 with a discount reward of $11? for a cost of $18 TOTAL for the full set of tires swapped not each!
MB: if you monitor this site, why do I have to leave my car all day? You know I want to take it to you but DIY for the convenience.
