While enjoying the beautiful day with the top down, my new conti's (with around 800 miles on them) challenged a knights code of chivalry against a piece of metal.
Needless to say, the conti put up a good fight but lost the battle.
Changing the wheel out was a breeze.
So to my question....has anyone tried sucking the air out the spare tire with the factory airpump? For the members that have not tried to use the pump, there's an inline guage with a release valve to release air out of the spare tire. Im wondering if you hook up the pump, turn it on, will it suck the air out as it forces air out of the release valve?
I'm itching to try it, but I have a real delema. You see my wife is sleeping and has to get up early. Now I have the good vs evil on my shoulders dueling it out and the odds are against me.
This may have to wait until moring....
Enjoy,
Dave
