Who would have thunk it - the SLK is the perfect moving van!
So, is it important that the new neighbour is a girl ALL the time?! :biglaugh:
If it is a lady...bake some cookies...no...buy a pizza (margarita - chicks like it simple) and a really good bottle of wine (and some detailing spray!). good luck!! :tu:
PS (clean jeans, white shirt, nice shoes...you're in...) this from a dumpy, balding guy that's been married 26yrs...off a blind date!!

Really? That might get you an atta boy and that's about it, after all you do drive an SLK, too. Get her a gift certificate (about the same price of a pizza and bottle of wine) to the local spa for a massage! Give it to her with a pint of chocolate covered strawberries! Yeah!
My first thought was to introduce "her" to my (female) friend that owns a detail shop a block away since her car was bit dirty (for Phoenix) and plenty of brake grunge on the front wheels.
Thanks for the input and it would be hilarious if this actually turned into a story...
Hey!! Nothing wrong with cougars...assuming she isn't vintage.
Negative on the massage coupon...work up to YOU giving her the massage! Ditto on the chocolate sauce ... and you could always eat the strawberries I suppose...
Not sure about the shorts; mrs says the ladies check out legs too.
Keep us abreast ... of the situation.
None of our lady members going to help out in this technical debate???
Geeze, if a guy gave me a spa day I doubt I'd ever forget him! Asked my daughter and she agreed! The 'thank you' no doubt, will probably be very enjoyable... You only have one time to make a first impression so do it right. You both drive the same cars so, she probably has higher expectations so don't skimp...!
Hey a cougar might be a good thing...experiencelol....
Btw, it's been a couple of days now, what's taking so long?
I did see the 280 again today, but I also found out that the condo complex 2 buildings down from mine underwent a complete resto, but weirdly they were furnished which is not a common approach in my hood. The complex sat empty for a couple years prior due to the housing market, but finally found a buyer.
The complex (with million dollar views of downtown) was bought by an entity that houses cancer patients while undergoing treatments here in Phoenix. An awesome endeavor, yes, a place to pick up a hottie, no.
I'm guessing the lamp and other items were brought down to make the patient feel more at home.
The news is disheartening. I said a prayer. There are many people that enjoy helping others, but one person in particular comes to mind. Jbanks15’s girlfriend is very involved in the Susan G. Komen 3 day 60 mile walk for the cure of breast cancer. Currently, Deb is hand making adorable items to raise money for the walk this October in Atlanta. Her dedication ‘for the cure’ is immeasurable and it’s obvious that a great deal of love and effort go into each item she makes. Yea, she’s awesome!
