Summer has come upon us and one of the biggest Euro car meets is approaching fast. Socaleuro is going down on Saturday July 30th at Qualcomm stadium in San Diego. About 1700 cars come out and every year Mercedes Benz has the least amount of cars show up, this year its time to Represent!!!
We have been working with the guys at socaleuro to secure us a nice spot. We would like to have all MB's park together so please register on the site so we know how many spots need to be reserved.
The main caravan spot will be at Irvine Spectrum, Parking lot G(behind Target) at 8:00am. We will be departing at 8:30am.
If anyone wants a meet up spot for LA area to drive to Irvine and/or SD caravan, please post here and we will set something up.
This will be a fun event. They have vendor booths, raffles, models, DJ's, food booths and some of the hottest Euro's around
No SLK but I'll tag along with anyone whose got an empty seat! Actually.. Matt.. If you don't feel like driving your SLK55... I don't mind driving it...
Its unlikely ill be able to sit or stand for any lengthy period of time. I imagine ill be on crutches and it wouldn't be a pleasant experience. I think ill be taking it easy for at least a month :tu:
Great Pinkus!! I think you've been involved with a few threads on SoCal SLK meets in the past without success so this will be great!
I signed up just now. Just go to http://www.big.socaleuro.com/ and sign up. You can put anything under affiliation, but if you write "MBjunkies" we'll hopefully all get grouped together and get a nice set of SLKs along with all the other crazy MBjunkies Benzos. As the date gets closer we'll see how we can meet the folks coming from up North and drive to the stadium as a group.

Thanks for the PM, Durk! I would love to go, and may or may not be able to. Like Eddy, I won't know till it gets closer. I've got it noted in my calendar, though. I hope I'm not missing any other SoCal drives!
New developments from this afternoon have now allowed a change in travel plans for July 30th. I may be able to attend but cannot confirm until I get approval from Chief Operations Officer. Let me know if anyone in counties north of San Diego want to meet up and caravan from the Irvine Spectrum meet point.
For folks coming up from the Los Angeles/Orange County area, there will be a meet-up at 8:00am at the Irvine Spectrum (far south end of Irvine Spectrum under the freeway). Benzes from all over the area will congregate there before setting off for San Diego together.
For San Diego folks and anyone else interested in meeting up centrally a bit before, and then rolling into the stadium as a group, we're going to meet from 9:00am in the Fry's Electronics parking lot. This is only 1 exit away from the stadium so it'll be a quick jaunt over to the final meeting place. Fry's does have a little eatery inside where you can get a sammich and a coffee to get your day started.
Directions to Fry's: From I-15, take exit Aero Drive and head west. Turn left on Murphy Canyon Rd (note: this is a camera intersection!!), then right on Stonecrest Blvd. Turn left at the first STOP sign; you won't see the building from the road since it is at a slightly lower elevation.
Directions from Fry's to Qualcomm Stadium: Leave Fry's parking lot by turning right. Turn right at the light onto Murphy Canyon Rd. Slight left and uphill onto I-15 South on-ramp. Exit I-15 at next exit (Friars Rd). Turn right onto Friars (west). The stadium will be on your left, but there area multiple entrances, so I'm guessing follow the signs, or the Benz in front of you at this point .
Ah, I had totally missed that post as well. It was on the end of page 1 and I probably though it was just one of Rollinn's reposting of the attendee list. Will be very nice to meet you. Are you planning to come to the pre-meet-up spot at Fry's or heading straight to the stadium?
