Hello,

My second rear tire change out...from the originals to Michelin Primacy MXM4'S
that lasted just over 3 years or 12,000!

They were quite, responsive, stopped, every time! It is they did not wear well at all, which is the norm, I am learning......

Any good straight opinions on replacement's The Michelin appear to be rated fairly high on most sites.....

Regards

Running Continental DWS (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Continental&tireModel=ExtremeContact+DWS). I like them a lot. Replaced all 4 about 18 months ago and just had to replace the rears 2 months ago. The fronts are in great shape. From what I understand this is pretty normal for an SLK. My Harley is the same; two rears for every one front.

I would think that unless you are going to change all 4 tires you would want to match the fronts and rears.
