Mystery seal

So I'm realizing my '99 SLK with just 35,000 miles took a hit somewhere. Upon further inspection, when I noticed the "sport" emblem on the front driver side fender was missing, I scrutinized the fender more closely and discovered a slight but discernible inconsistency in the gap between hood and fender where it met just about the headlight and then noticed the black rubber/vinyl seal between the bottom of the driver side roof pillar where it joins he front fender was missing. So I've tried to find the missing piece through Pelican Parts (my longtime "go-to" supplier for a couple of old Porsches I owned) and the local MB dealership, but the factory diagrams are confusing and no one seems able to identify the part number. Anyone out there been here, done that, and can steer me to the right part number so I can make my SLK whole?

it appears that the A pillar (not the A pillar cover) is sold as one part to include that seal. I hope I am wrong.
if any other member wants to search epc, we would appreciate it

part 11 is the A pillar (not the A pillar cover)
