aluminium undertray

evening all,

had my car up on the ramp today looking for a rattle that doesn't seem to come from anywhere, but whilst underneath I noticed that the car doesn't have a front undertray - now I was thinking of making one from aluminium and putting in the obvious air vents.
has anyone else done this before, or would general recommendations be just look on ebay for a factory one???

thanks in advance

pasty
