So that frosting is on the outside of the glass & not the inside?
What's the cause of this?

No, the haze is from sanding. It's not on the inside. I sprayed them afterwards with clear coat (uv and non yellowing) by rustoleum (gloss). This is a permanent fix. They are not glass.

Hey. No they are plastic. They are the original lenses.

Hi Joeb77. Sorry for the tardy reply.
I used rustolem's clear coat/semi gloss. And 400,800,2000 grit paper. Keep spraying water on the headlight as you sand. Before painting wipe down with alcohol. Hit the light with clear coat 3 times. Wait 10 minutes between coats and don't be afraid to spray. Wait 24 hours do a 3000 grit or 2000 (just to remove orange peel.) If it looks ok before doing next day sanding leave it alone and wax it or spray 1 more time. Let it cure a day or week and then wax it. Unbelievable! The illumination is fantastic.

Curious why you chose semi gloss versus gloss?
