So we ordered the new stereo radio from Car Audio Centre, got a good price quote and next day delivery for £4.99.
Waited in until midday then checked e mails for what they said would be a message giving tracking number/ time of delivery etc.
Strange no mail, so we phoned to see what was happing, gave our order number and was told Ahhh we couldn`t find that stereo in the warehouse.
I asked and at what point was someone going to phone me to give me this news?
I had and was waiting in for my parcel, had paid extra for next day delivery so where are we in this transaction, Answer was I can only apologise and suggest you might like a different stereo, No I replied I want that one when will you have one, Don`t know, next week, would you like a refund?
No I said I want that stereo that`s why I placed my order with you because you told me you had one, I take it you will refund my next day delivery charge.
Yes we will and when the new stereo comes in we won`t charge you for next day delivery.
I almost laughed, of course you won`t I replied because how could you it would have taken getting on for 2 weeks by the time I get it.
It`s amazing how some companies can delivery items bought in 24 hours and others it`s a lottery of when you get it. Grrrrr.
