no info sorry, just motivational pictures with one lowered, the MB dealer did all the work... (before I bought it of course)

Renntech lowering springs, koni adjustable shocks , and 18" wheels. It's pretty stiff, but I have never had any wheel rubbing or harsh bottoming, which I find amazing

I think a=it's about 1/2", but I don't know what they did for pads and the 18" wheels fill the space up.

i have my r70 lowered on coilovers with the spring perch removed in the rear, in addition to the smallest pads from the dealership. it's not too hard to do, the fronts are a traditional mcpherson strut while the rear have separate struts and springs. my coilovers have me lowered about 4" from factory. i have run 18" wheels with stretched tires and i run now 16" wheels with a meatier tire, only slight rubbing due to the aggressive tire size i decided to run. i did have all 4 of my fenders custom rolled and pulled to allow a bigger tire inside the wheel well.

I was thinking 1.25" drop with a smaller pad and nice set of 18s where can I even get the pads? They expensive?

with that kind of drop, you would only need lowering springs. if you're going to be changing your springs for new or even slightly used ones, i suggest replacing your struts as well, unless you're new(er). the pads you can get from the dealership, or maybe secondhand from someone on here, and no they're not expensive.

If you know what size pads your car currently has I may have smaller ones you can have for the cost of shipping.

I'm going to say they are the org/stock. What would shipping cost? Size? Nice name man, from NH?

My R 170 is way too low already to lower it even more than stock...especially for these crappy Arizona roads.

I have Elbach springs on my 98 SLK230K . It's a 30mm dropped all round... I run 18 inch Brabus Monoblock VI. Run is much harder but the turn in thru corners are much flatter..
