Any info?

I just recently bought a used 2000 SLK 230 Limited Edition, and i was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is normal for the engine to shake when it is turned off?

I wouldn't think any engine should shake when turning it off.
Sounds like the timing is off to me.

Not familiar with the 230 so someone else should shed more light on it if it's a common problem.
