Damn, didn't mean to call out the extremists (what I call muslims who post cheesy images like those to boards.) I hope I'm not on a list now. To mitigate the mistake I'll pass on an anecdote. I've known several people who've lived / worked in Kuwait. Apparently Kuwaitis like to put their kids on their laps / the dash while driving... so much so that they are known pejoratively as 'Kuwaiti Airbags'. They also tell stories about how these guys roar down the highway at insane speeds, glaring rudely at Westerners, only to be found in pieces later up the road. This, they say, happens daily.
Excuse me but what you brought up are things that I rarely see, people who are brought up correctly and know the manners wouldnt do that. I havent seen anyone who use their children as airbags as thats a selfish idea. People who have children care for them and not to harm them like that, whats a kid to enjoy watching a speedometer rise or go down. You cannot say apparently kuwaiti's like to put their childrens on their laps thats generalizing for you information.
Yes to a certain degree I have to say that every country has people who are really dimwitted and self fish, I've heard cases that people do stare at westerners on highways but those are the un-educated or little educated rural part of the population who live next to the deserts in which there are still extremely conservative and clogged with the old social norms and values of the community which clearly closes their passage to openness, adaption of new changes and other advancements.
As an educated Kuwaiti citizen from a British schooling system, I've enter acted and talked to foreigners since the age of 4. All of my teachers in Kg,primary and secondary school were all of British citizens. The schooling system over here consists of both private and public schools, private schools being French, American and British system offer the better package to the student allowing him or her to get knowledge, openness, values and norms from both perspective ( western vs local ) as you know schools are part of the stratification of values and norms. Basically you can say I have influence from both worlds. I know the right from wrong, hatred of these rural citizens of Kuwait is influenced through their families and small local community. Kuwait is one of the safest countries, as a whole people are kind and friendly, I really feel sad when these small issues are brought up.
There are more foreigners than Kuwaiti's in Kuwait, you could say what ever you like but if you get information from one part ( people you know ) the information might be highly biased due to their bad experiences. If you take a un biased survey passed out in Kuwait and experience Kuwait, you'd get a better perspective of these issues you are referring to.
Have you seen the video "Stupid American people?"
Can I generalize that americans are stupid, hell no so please do not generalize that Kuwaiti's put their childrens on their laps while they drive.
