Missing windscreen

I haven't bothered to think about this before, because I assumed that it was a part of buying a used SLK. My car didn't come with its windscreen. Should I bitch?

Do you mean the black mesh windscreen? If so, I'd ask the seller or consider a better MB or after market product!

The windscreen is just a piece of black mesh cloth that stretches between the two headrests. I use mine, but I'm not sure it's really that effective, and it partially blocks the rearview mirror anyway. There is a clear plexiglas screen sold aftermarket that many folks use and love. Not too expensive, and some of them are lighted (you have to see it to understand...). I think you can get one on eBay. Since you've got me thinking, I may get one of those and sell you my old one...

Just to be sure, did you look in the pouch on the back wall behind the seats? Don't be offended as I know that's obvious, but I had to ask.
