Well, I just have the worst parking luck... no matter how far I park from a store entrance, even with several empty spaces around, someone always has to park next to me. Maybe it's just MB gravity, idunno.
412driver. Yes, I agree with you. This is a little off-topic, but hang with me here. Me: non-partisan, I flat-out don't care about American govt anymore (thank the media BS for that). But...
Just imagine if Hillary Clinton was president. I know, it's a shame, but think about something. She "spearheaded" health care reform... just as much as Al Gore invented the information super highway. But if Hillary was in office, just imagine all the drug benefits! I'm not for the current health care system, it's more of a capitalist joke than anything, but as my parents push past 60 and start to retire, there needs to be a new market. Forget about real estate and stocks. Now marajuana is a top crop in the US, they even report on it in great detail, but the substance is illegal. Just imagine if Hillary Clinton legalized it for all the ailing 50+ generation? That would be perfect because it would do two things: 1, the gvmt would tax the crap out of it and reap some cash; 2, a lot of Americans would calm down and stop being so hysterical. It think Hillary is exactly what people over 50 need. These are the individuals that I refer to as Generation RX (TM). My parents and everyone else their age are so dependant on pharmacies these days for such small ailments I'm worried. But thinking about how they were recreating in the 60's and 70's, it's no wonder.
The slackers you are pointint out, those selfish phukers, I coin then Generation Me (TM).
I refuse to vote, because the majority won't make a diff in this election. The electoral college will pull rank here. But with all the BS that will come with Hillary, just imagine the new crops... cash and otherwise. NC is still a tobacco state... just imagine the money it would produce. I'm all for that. Of course, I'm not for anything else that will serve as residual effect from her (and her co-horts') reign.
I have traveled around the world. Not everywhere, but I've been out there. I love to blend in wherever I am so that I can absorb the experience. But in the US, I have a hard time blending in. A lot of people my age (late 20's) are actually still in school on foreign programs just to live a normal life in the free world. When I got back from Germany, I used my cell phone in bagage claim to make sure that my friend knew I was ready to be picked up. When I pulled my phone out, I was approched by "TSA" (thousands standing around) to tell me that I cannot use my phone in baggage claim. WTF? Land of the free? What freedom? Don't get me started on speed limits. Germany and Holland were such great escapes into freedom. Coming back into the states and being told not to make a phone call was absurd. I wanted to get right back on that plane and never come back.
One last thing. High Fructose Corn Syrup. That evil ingredient is what I belive is contributing to this country's weight problem. It's in everything, even peanut butter. I tried to cut that out of everything I purchase at the grocery store, but I can't avoid that crap. For kicks, I went grocery shopping in Frankfurt. German Coca-Cola uses SUGAR, just like in Australia. It tastes better with sugar and the body processes that sugar better than this corn syrup crap. Somehow, some way, I will lodge a campaign against HFCS. I want real ingredients. HFCS is causing severe weight issues, and when you account for how much of it is in our food, it makes total sense as to why I can't even reduce my weight with routine exercise. Don't even get me started on corporate restaurants and pre-packaged foods. I could go on forever... or I could just live in the free world.
Okay, I'm done. Thanks for listening.
