South West London after market/garage customer experience, what do you think?
I thought it would be interesting to share this with you. In summary, my SLK developed a funny whining noise, worried I called the following garages asking if someone could have a quick look just to have an idea about what was goin on, I clarified that I was not planning to leave the car in the shop.
Here is the result of my enquiry:
1) MB shop A: sorry we are fully booked for 10 days, please call Croydon. I said, its only for a 3 min assessment... Not possible
2) MB shop B: we are booked for 10 days, please call shop A. .
3) MB shop C: they kindly agreed to see the car, and stated that the supercharger and air conditioning needed to be changed? next available day... 10 days later.
When the day comes to bring the car in, i have to cancel because I have an emergency at work guess when the next available date for bringing the car in is? yes another 10 days.
Am I expecting too much or am I right to think that there is room for improvement?
what do you guys think?
