Run into a problem on my 66 Flosse

Here are some pics of the inside of the car. The interior is all ready to go the Grundig 8 Track puts out sweet tunes. The Ivory steering wheel is installed Retail Price from Mb Classic 1k i found it for $399.00 new The Lazyboy seats and Bench is installed.Tthere is just 1 problem we can,t find half of the parts that need to go into the Motor like Bolts Nuts Etc etc. and some other small Stuff. I know we put it on the shelves and in the Trunk but we can,t find it any longer. I guess drinking beer and using the beer drinking inventory system to restore a classic gonna give you a headache. Not finding the small parts to install the Engine no big Deal. A bigger set back is the prices off some of the Mb parts . They tripled in price been right there with 190Sl parts. My Classic will have a better return

parting it out than putting it back on the Road.

Anyway just a little Set back because if we don,t find all the parts i gonna use the old 66 to be buried in. Hey what better way to go sitting behind the Wheel of a 66 Flosse on a Flatbed waving at my old Girlfriends.

Anyway here are some pics.

Don't do it Flossy - if you part it out, you will get some money. With that money, you will buy some beer, with that beer you will get the mother of all hangovers - then you will have no Flosse and no beer - a Flosse-less Flossy just would not be right.

Don't you have a local hardware store where you can buy a slack handful of assorted metric fastenings without paying MB prices?

(I would put the Jim Reeves cartridge on ebay though!!).

Awesome interior, don't part it out! I'll start shopping for 8-tracks at the neighborhood yard sales and set you up!

-1- 1 Day years ago when i started with Flossen it was a cheap Hobby. Since most of the Wrecking Yards don,t have Parts any longer it is now an expensive Hobby. Silly me years ago i bought Flossen for $ 300.00 parted them out and sold parts around the world. Kept a good stock on hand for my Project but some of the parts i don,t have any longer. My good Friend crushed over 300 Flossen in Day and other Cars like 60,s Sl 300Sl and W108 because the City of Tempe forced him out to built a Shopping Mall. Pretty sad finding original Parts for you Classic Mb is kinda like a Treasure Hunt.
Not alot of original parts left. if you find somebody they know how much to ask for. I guess anybody that restores a Classic runs sooner or later into the same problem.
