following uneven road surface

I am new to driving an SLK. My previous car was front wheel drive and had smaller tyres. I have found that if there any undulations on the road surface, the SLK tends to follow them and I have to concentrate quite hard to make sure I'm not weaving around too much!! Mind you, some of the roads are awful round here!! Is this due to rear wheel drive, width of tyres, or anything else?? Can I try a different make of tyre. I have Uniroyal rainsports fitted.

Hi, My SLK230 is steady as a rock on uneven roads and motorway. I have Bridgstone Potenza fitted.

Maybe your tyre pressures are down or uneven. Very cheap fix if this is the case. Maybe tyres are just not suited.

One of the guys on here will more than likely have more of an idea than i do though.

Thank you for your suggestions. The tyres are new, (only on the rear.) I shall check the pressures ASAP!
