How many miles/kilometers do you drive in your country in 1 hour?

In Germany you reach about 130 - 140km on the Autobahn and about 60km on country roads.

From my home town I need about 4,5 hours to go to Munich (600km).

edit: country not y

i would average about 70-mph on motorways an travel maybe 20-30 mph in city roads.
country roads are the best fun however here in Ireland. we have some of the best scenery and winding roads you cuold imagine, alot of young guys do have fatal accidents on them every year however.

120kmh on the highway in Kuwait, 45kmh in Residential area's, 60-80 in Main Streets and some streets have a 100kmh limit; those are mainly on Ring roads that are close to the CBD.

On the most parts of the Autobahn there is no speed limit, country roads have a 100km/h, cities a 30 or 50km/h speed limit in Germany.

But what´s about the conditon of the streets in your country? In Germany we have some good and some bad areas. Niedersachsen and Rheinland-Pfalz have bad streets, Northrhine-Westfalia and Bavaria good ones.

In the US, the average Interstate is posted at 65mph or 70 mph. The average speed driven on these roads is about 75 and 80mph respectively, secondary roads are mostly posted 55mph or less and average speeds driven are 5 mpn above the limit when traffic allows. Unfortunately in the US, the number of drivers with IQ's less than the posted speed limit is rising quickly. Our Interstate highways are fast becoming demolition derby experiences and ROAD RAGE allies due to stupidity. Another argument for "**** in cars".

This problem we have in Germany not in the streets only. Once Albert Einstein said: "90% of the crowd is totally mad and the rest is living in fear of infection!" Meanwhile Mr.Einstein would talk about 95%...

On long stretch of the interstate it's 75mph (120kph), so going 80mph is safe and normal. That was the speed I was traveling from Littleton to Pueblo (track). Highways in the metro area is 55mph and 65mph right outside of city limits.
