I know it is not a SLK, but what do yu guys think of debadging the CL55?

LOL - I like the CDI idea! I personally like badges on light colored cars, but at the end of the day, it's what makes you smile when you see it that matters.

Since it's a 55, it makes it a little bit more of a sleeper, but any Benz fan would recognize it by the exhaust. When you have something special (AMG) I think it's cool. I was going to debadge my SLK280 because I like the clean look, but then thought it might come off like I'm trying to hide my little engine. Kinda lame, IMHO.
