I've never heard anyone say "silk."

Do people say that?

I say Challenge since that is his proper name. SLK is too general. True, he is of the SLK family, but even his MBZ Master Mechanic affectionately refers to him as "Young Challenge"!

FWIW, I've said "SLicK 350" from time to time. Actually call this the "SLicK site".

Unofficially, I use SLicK, but I normally say "my SLK", rarely "my Merc"...

"Silk" sounds kind of girlie, don't you think? What would that make a CLK or a CLS?

I'm always hesitant to call it a "Merc" as some might think I'm talking about a Lincoln.
