History
I'm the second owner; bought the car from M-B of Pleasanton, CA over the internet and had it shipped to Oregon. Never been hit, but the front bumper has been resprayed--likely lots of stone chips & sandblasting from the Central Valley that was it's previous home (windows show evidence of lots of sand; need to polish 'em out with my Griot's buffer). Manual transmission & minimal options, so it's pretty light. We've christened her Sunhilde, or Sun Warrior Maiden in German. Sun is obvious, of course, and her color has the hue of weathered armor so we thought the rest of the name appropriate, too!

Stock
Interior
M-B all-weather floor mats installed to replace worn carpeted ones. Interior LED light kit installed. Pre-cut vinyl CF wrap on steering wheel button surrounds and shifter console. Curro101's roll hoop inserts and instrument cluster "SLK 280" badge. Windrestrictor now installed to replace factory mesh wind blocker.
Exterior
M-B logo trunk handle, Blue/White star & laurel logo wheel center caps & valve stem caps. SLKWorld.com vinyl window stickers on quarter windows. Vinyl CF wrap on C-pillars. R171 Facelift midi radio antenna.
Audio
Alpine CDE-HD149 head unit installed to replace Audio50 & 6-disc changer. Alpine unit has iPod connectivity, and ditching the 6CD makes the glovebox useable space. The new fascia for the single-DIN unit has another cubby in it for the iPod & other small stuff.
Suspension
Bilstein B12 suspension (Eibach Pro-Kit springs & matching dampers). NOTE: if you have this done, be sure to tell the installer that the factory bump stop should be discarded, before they freak out about it not fitting the front strut. The Bilstein strut has an internal bump stop, so the factory rubber isn't needed any more.
