Xk8

Returning from Faversham last Friday evening, heading for the reopened section of the M2, after it had been closed all day due to a lorry fire, an XK8 came up behind and clearly wanted to look inside my boot. Followed on my tail along the slip road, until ahead of us was a virtually deserted M2. Well, at least he tried...

Obviously, as soon as 70mph was reached, we called it a day.

Hi All

He must have been rushing home to put his slippers on & light up his pipe after a hard day on the golf course .

Cheers

Well, you may be on to something. My g/f remarked 'Oh FFS, not another sad old git in a cap and a roadster...'

I hasten to add, I do not wear a cap. Knotted hankie, or as it happened on Friday, an Axl Rose-eque bandana.

Always have respect when drivers play but keep it real.

Good on you both.

(Thinks: Need to discretely hide me cap now)
