SLK 55 vs E46 M3

Clip of my run vs a modified E46 M3 on Sunday at Terminal Velocity.

The M3 apparently has around 360bhp so I'm pleased with the result.

Nice run mate!

Wonder what the roof down times would be like?

Thanks mate! I hadn't actually thought about that.. would probably be a loud experience! Best run of the day was 162mph (165 on the speedo) over the 1.5 mile stretch - maybe next time I'll try it with the roof down!

Great run! Great soundtrack too.

Loved seeing the M3 in the mirror, that was a nice touch.

If you go roof down, here's a thought....

Do Wind restrictor do a screen with attached parachute?

Mods at the mo are the X-Pipe & Secondary cat delete and an engine & gearbox remap. Got it pulling monster torque now, which I'm happy with! Last time out on the hub dyno, was around 370bhp and 425lb/ft.

Someone else was kind enough to film the race from the sidelines too Apparently there was an M3 on the runway too.. not that you can hear it

And didn't have it all my way unfortunately.. Only so long I could keep with a V10 RS6..!

I do indeed, however it doesn't have any sound for some reason.. stupid phone.

I'll post it later on or tomorrow. Needless to say, didn't fare too well.. He hit 190 and I did 158 on that particular run. 700bhp vs 370bhp

Yep. He's a mate of mine who's just picked it up and within a week had a full uprated turbo kit fitted for many Ł's! It's touching 720bhp and will likely be over 900 by the end of year.

Here is a list of the speeds from the day.. Ignore my 177 - they mixed up mine with my friends in the AMG GTS on one of our runs. My correct top speed was 162.

Good run mate. Is your car's speed limiter turned off with the reprograming of the ECU? I assume so. I loved seeing the Range Rover on the list.

Thanks mate - next time I should probably get rid of my passenger and the luggage in the boot!

Yeah the car's limiter was removed as part of my remap.
