Two stage paint correction and ceramic coating done!

When I bought this car the whole thing needed some big time tlc. The dealer I bought it from used a glaze on it to hide a lot of the nasty swirls and holograms. Iíve never done a whole car correction before, it was a lot of fun! Everything I know I learned off YouTube, so if I can do it, anybody can do it!

The process went like this:

Wash
Decon with iron remover
Strip wash to remove all the old wax and crap. That was pretty eye opening because it revealed that this car never met a drive through car wash it didnít like. Lots of swirls and scratches.
Clay bar except I used a nanoskin clay mitt.
Compound
Polish
Touch up paint
Eraser wipe down
Ceramic coat

Whew, it was all worth it though! I had the wheels powder coated too while I was working on it. Iím really happy with the results!

Shiny!

Wow - that's worth every minute of your hard work and every cent you spent on materials. Be justifiably proud.

Thanks! I use Adams polishes. Iíve used their ceramic coating on several other cars and have been really happy with the results. Itís really user friendly too which was important to me.
