Washing my SLK

Is it just me or do other people find washing there SLK a special moment. There is something nice about studying those beautiful curves and exquisite design features that make this car the nicest vehicle I have ever owned. Cheers

Agreed, my SLKs have been the only cars I have ever owned that I have never let anyone wash.
I know when I wash and wax etc that it is being done to my standard and the SLKs deserve it.
I have even mixed my own wheel cleaner and have a special wheel bucket and tools for cleaning them.
The wheels alone will take me about 45 mins to clean and a full makntenace wash is a good 2 to 3 hours.
A full detail can take me 2 to 3 days.....
As I’ve said before, SLKs are addictive.

I also clean the car myself. I am just cleaning the wheels and to do them properly I take them off every couple of months and give them a really good clean. This lets me get into all of those awkward places to get them really clean and also gives me a chance to inspect the tyre condition for each wheel.
