That car is dope!! The color combo truly makes it "stealthy"... that orange just pops and transforms it. Glossy wrap looks really really good... and, there is not an inch of chrome anywhere on that car, as it should be

Good job, sir.

Got a question. What kind of paint did you use on those calipers?

They were taken off and Powder-coated to get a durable finish, then the AG decals put back on. As it's got the 6 pots, might as well get them highlighted as you can't see the original silver against the silver wheels easily

I was looking at that and you just have to wash it with a PH neutral cleaner. No polish needed as it's in the wrap but you can get specialised ones. You have to avoid the car washes though so you have to do it yourself as they use powerful jetwashes that can lift if used by an unsympathetic type. Oh and avoid fuel spills or wash straight away ! I've bought a car cover so it doesn't sit in the sun so it should last a long time, 7-10 years if you take care of the above. Colours will have moved on by then, so it will be time for a change anyway. . Car's just a summer dry road toy so won't get covered in too much rubbish..

My car is less than a year old and I really love the Designo Hyacinth Red so not ready to wrap yet! (Hyacinth = Cardinal Red in the US - and for once I love the US "bastardisation" of English/foreign languages because people often ask what the colour is and I hate replying that the colour is hyacinth - it referring to a very feminine flower!)

Doesn't wrapping protect the original paint underneath - as in, when you remove the wrap and the underlying original cover has been scratch and UV protected?

Finally, I almost dread to know the answer - but what is the ball park £$£ for a wrap, vs a respray and also a figure for the lovely paint detailing on wheels, decals etc?

All depends on the job you want doing if you want it perfect respray it takes time and money
I wanted a proper job not just outside done and inside still grey. Only thing I didn’t get was the engine struts as it was silly price and most people miss them when looking.
Respray I got quoted £1500-£8000 settled on £4000
Wrap £3000
Wheels £300-£400 ish but I had to have the sparkles paint.
Seeing my purple car priceless.

I thought about a re-spray but didn't know how the colour will come out so that's why I decided on a wrap. The quality of the material should be fine and in theory it should be able to be peeled off when you want a change or put back to standard. I have no intention of selling the car so I'm not too fussed what it has done to the value really. Can't see these cars going down in value at all as their quite a niche market and fairly unique with the V8 in a tiny car. Anyway, costs were as follows. Wrap was £1600, Calipers £320, Wheels £280, Window and light tints £250. New badges £50. All done at West Midlands Customs in Birmingham. Their a friendly bunch and have done a great job so I'm happy as it makes the car look a lot more aggressive and 'masculine' appearance that is slightly lacking in the original silver. Plus the de-chrome is a must. Only issue you have with a wrap is the fact you need the rest of the details doing as above less it just doesn't look right.
