MB museum and Wurtzburg
I have visited the MB in Stuttgart last summer; I agree it"s a required stop,
As for Wurtzburg; what a beautiful historic city. I have visited there a number of times as I have dear friends in Karlstadt, just a short distance west of there also along the Mein river.
I visit Germany every summer as it truly is my home away from home. I spend much time in Freiberg, near Dresden, in Saxony. My university has a student exchange program with the Technical University there. I have hosted a number of German students, from Freiberg, over the years.
For anyone traveling in the eastern regions of Germany you must spend some time in Dresden. For me it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Having lunch on the Terraza overlooking the Elbe river is one of the great joys in life.
Each summer, also in Dresden, I visit the platz where the Frauenkirche has been totally rebuilt; it is a special emotional experience for me.
