Just thought I'd drop in and say hi!

Picked up my SLK 350 this morning and love it! I'm a bit of a car nut and used to be all about the MG's however 3 years ago I got my Mercedes C300H which I love and has swung me towards the three pointed star. If anyone's interested I have a website dedicated to my slightly overly long car history (M6JKK.COM and I also run the Rover 800 forum (Rover 800 Enthusiasts)

Really impressed with the power and especially the noise it makes, seems to give it bags of character, looking forward to getting to know it a little better over the next few days

Welcome and thanks for joining SLKWorld the #1 Mercedes Benz SLK Forum.

A good suggestion is to read the http://www.slkworld.com/faq.php?faq=vb_faq#faq_rules
to familiarize yourself with the Forum.

It’s a good idea to use the 'search' feature before you post. There is a wealth of information here to help answer any questions you may have.

If you want to send a Private Message (PM) to another member, you’ll need 15 posts. A quick way is to click on the link below, and welcome new members.

Some tips to make your visit here more enjoyable:
If you haven’t, please use the 'search' feature at the top right of the page for your questions as they have probably been asked before. Remember, ‘Search’ is your friend.
If you wish to become PM (Private Message) capable, you need 15 posts. To get those 15 posts quickly, just go to the ‘New members introduce yourself here’ section and welcome enough new members to obtain your needed posts to PM.
Want to post a picture? Start a new thread or make a post, click ‘edit’, click on the ‘paper clip’ or ‘advanced’ and/or ‘manage attachments’ then ‘choose file’ then ‘upload’ and ‘submit’! If Iphone pics, you need to rename any additional pics as Iphone names its pics all the same, image.jpg.
Want to ‘like’ or thank’ someone’s comments? Use the ‘like’ button to the right or the ‘Thanks’ button, bottom right of any post you like. This saves you having to comment.
New members should be aware that the 'New Posts' link next to the 'Search' link top right of the info bar is a great way to see all of the posts you have missed since you were on the forum last. Remember to click 'mark forums read' under ‘quick links’ when you leave.

Hi James, and welcome to SLKWorld.com from the UK Midlands - Thanks for joining us and posting an intro! :)

We have quite a few members in the UK that like to meet up from time to time. If you're interested in joining us sometime, just keep an eye on the UK Region section, as we post meeting plans there!

There is a summary post that I maintain for our UK meets here. Links to examples and pictures from last year's meets are available here. We're a friendly group, and always happy to welcome new members at any of our meets.

We're also plotting where our UK members are - check out the thread for that here: SLKWorld UK & Ireland Members and Meeting Points Map - Please let me know if you'd like to be added to the map. :tu:

Thank you

Welcome from the Sacramento Valley Enthusiasts!

Thanks for all the welcomes, quite a range of people on here! Never being one to leave things alone I've already ordered a new head unit to replace the radio that's in there now. It's an android unit (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DVD-GPS-...S-BENZ-SLK-CLASS-W171-R171-V5576/263439912190) which hopefully will be OK but I can't live without bluetooth for calling and I don't actually have any CD's so need Spotify!
