Well when I left my house heading to the SLK meet, my SLK sputtered and I couldn't get it to go faster than 5-10 MPH. I have to take it in to get repaired on Monday. So I went back home grabbed my truck and headed for the meet. Fortunately I found a person driving solo so I hopped in the passenger seat and co-piloted. We had to make a couple of u-turns went over a one lane bridge and numerous switchback hairpin curves. Then when we arrived for lunch the restaurant was closed. The new owners turned it into a wedding/catering business. I called another restaurant and they were able to accomadate all 10 of us. I forgot to grab my camera when I switched cars. I will try to post more photos when I get them. 7 SLK's attended this event.
The SLK is now fixed. The fuel pump and fuel filter had to be replaced. Total repair cost around $650.00. Yippee!
