Hi everyone!

Just acquired 2000 SLK 230 from Japan with only 65.000 kms (40.000 miles). It is a left hand drive car but built for Japanese market, so that's why it is JDM.

Not sure what is different from the North American market at this moment but at least it doesn't have OBDII connector under the dash.

It is my first Mercedes and even first European car, I only had Japanese cars before, so should be interesting experience for me.

It has some sweet mods like full Wald body kit and LSD vertical doors. Also has some Japanese electronic gadgets: GPS assisted radar-detector, TV, navigation, HDD music storage etc but most of them will not be very useful here in Canada.

I have it only for couple days, but already drove around 1000 kms from Vancouver port to home. It was great on the road.

Now I only have to fix SRS light which is stays on.
