Might be the angle, doesn't look like much wheel gap. Your wheels look more like 20" wheels, must be the tires. Not sure you can lower without problems. Others will know better.
30mm will probably be better, 35mm is a bit much. Definitely needs to be lowered, with your tires and wheel size you are at 19mm higher than your OEM setup. Lowering it 30mm will eliminate wheel gap and will not be much lower than before.
In indendesign they have used a lot of 35mm lowering, but have to think about that 30mm also. Not nice to notice that the wheels are rubbing fenders. Would have nice to hear more about peoples lowering setups
