Default Grey fins for hood vents?

Hey this may be a really random request but I was wondering if anyone knows of you can get the little grey "fins" that go on the hood vents on the SLK? I like the look of them, cosmetically speaking, but I *think* they only come on the SLK 55 AMG so I'd like to put them on my 350. Thanks in advance!

cousjcc - most of the ones I've seen (2 different sets) either clip into the screen, or screw on.

I liked the "look" of the clip ons, but not the "feel". The screw-on ones were much better quality, but somehow just didn't look "right" to me. I'm still waiting for the right ones to come along! :-D

I never touch my clipped fins except when cleaning. I think the peicha design fins do not look like the original AMG design.

I don't think they can because of copyright issues. It may look similar but can't be identical.

I actually decided to go with the actual OEM hood vents with fins that come on the 55. Had to pay $140 for each hood vent, fins attached, so $280 total. Much more expensive than after market but I wanted the same exact look as the 55 with a solid feel. Ordered them from the dealer and should be having them installed this friday

Hey Cousjcc - wanna post the part numbers you ordered? Be handy for reference, and for "spare" spending allotment

You can also get the OEM ones from mydirectparts.com for $103.20 each.

http://www.mydirectparts.com/partloc...layCatalogid=0

It doesn't show a picture of the 55 ones but does of the 280/350s under Hood & components, grill, SLK55.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm printing that page and will take it with me when I pick them up to see if the dealership will give them to me for $200. Otherwise they can keep 'em and I'll just wait a lil longer to get them from mydirectparts.
