Default FS: SLK350 sport suspension components...

Cleaning out the garage now that the SLK350 is traded for the SL550...

I would like to sell the sport suspension components as a set. Front struts with springs, and rear shocks. These items were removed from a 2005 SLK350 with about 7,600 miles. These parts are probably close to $900 new. I would like to get $200 plus shipping from Ohio.

I am VERY interested and would like to buy them.

Just a few questions:

1) Do I need anything else to put this on my 2005 SLK-350? Is it missing any components, etc?
2) Does it lower the car?
3) Is it okay to put this setup on a daily driver, i.e., is the ride too harsh for regular street driving, is it strictly a track setup? (if you know spring return rates, that would tell me the answer)

Thanks.

I think the bundle he is selling is complete you can check with dan for the specifics and regarding the lowering and comfort I am sure that its fine,I've got a SLK55 that is much lower than the SLK350 sports and is actually harsher but its fine for me and my likings. There are members that use the SLK55 on a daily basis, I highly doubt it being a track setup if its supported by the Head quarters in germany. A Track setup is a set of coilovers.

The rate is most probably fine you can do a search on sports package or sports suspension, pm ynot he is an ex owner of the sports suspension who moved to the lower brabus springs to improve the looks with his 19" wheels.

Default Completely stock sport suspension

1) The only thing I am not including are the USED fasteners. All of the nuts and bolts for this job are considered one time use. If you want to chance using USED nuts and bolts, you could use the fasteners from your existing suspension.

2) The front will be lowered roughly 10mm to 13mm. The rear springs are not included since they are the same for MBs standard and sport suspension.

3) This is not a track set up. As pointed out above, this is not as harsh as the SLK55 suspension.

See this thread on Benzworld for instructions on how to make the conversion.
