R171 front clip

Anyone have a lead on a R171 front clip? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Front clip = front 1/4 of the car usually. repairing serious damage?

I am rebuilding a 2006 slk 280 it has light damage to both frame rails and I am in need of all parts forward of the motor. Motor is untouched and I need complete cooling system along with structural components...I have front bumper cover and the grill and both headlights but feel that I would be better off buying the complete clip for all the small stuff that the dealership is going to crush me on. I am new to this forum and believe that I cannot post photos yet. I am located outside of Youngstown Ohio and would of course be thrilled to pay all shipping costs. Again any help with these parts or even how I may post photos would help...Thanks guys...as I intend and will restore this car back to its original glory correctly.

You can post photos by first uploading them to photobucket.com. copy and paste the IMG link (from photobucket) into the text of your post and the image should show.

If you know someone from the local bodyshop, maybe they can help you out in getting the parts at trade/wholesale prices.

These are the worst pics obviously...but I believe this car will be a great rebuild. Only 5K miles with the maroon interior...love the color combo. Thanks for the help and I hope these pics show.

Believe me...I've seen and fixed much much worse.

As long as the structural integrity and strength of the repair brings it to factory/OEM specs, especially the front chassis and rails, then it looks like a neat project. It would be nice to see photos of the progress of the repair.
