Steering wheel seems like a good value considering the cost to upgrade to just the paddles. $900us / 450 pounds. The 63 replica wheels are nice too.

He's from Es*** in the UK.

That should be E-s-s-e-x UK. I know about the reputation of the girls that live there but I wasn't aware that it was a naughty word!

Sorry Easty!

I must have missed this one, here you go:

His name was Marley, unfortunately he died quite suddenly in June of this year. My other half and I were pretty gutted, as I'm sure anyone who's lost a dog will know. He was very special to us and we agreed that another one couldn't replace him so we thought we'd see if two would come close, and here they are:

Humphrey and Lilly!

Sorry to hear about the loss of your Marley Paul. We lost a Great Dane a while back to cancer. It was a tough thing.

We have a Marley, too. Here is our "little guy".

I love Great Danes (unfortunately we haven't got the space!) and I love those ears, we don't get them like that in the UK. So does he get to spend much time in the passenger seat of the SLK, or does he not fit?

You would be surprised at how little space they require. Since they have small hearts, they don't excersize a great deal. And they are very attached to their owners, so they will just stay where ever we are.

Yes, the European standard is non-cropped ears. I'd say about 15% of the US Dane population is also not cropped. But we like the cropped look even if it is a ton of work to get the ears just right.

Marley has not seen the inside of the SLK. On the day I bought my car, I bought him one too (that the wife is also allowed to use). Marley has an 07 ML350. This is his second new car. He got rid of his Infiniti QX4 to make room for the ML.

Well I think that's a very smart move you buying it for him, at least you know he'll be able to reverse park it (I also have a blonde wife!!)
