Default AMG Fins.

Hello.

I've done a search but I cannot find the official Mercedes Benz part numbers for these, can anyone help with a UK part number?. Do the fins come individually or as part of the plastic mesh?

Thanks.

There you go, you can thank SiLK for all the work, I'm just quoting him.

Got em, fitted em . They took a little figuring out to start with because I wanted to swap the washer jets as well to save having to set up the new ones.

Anyways, they look good. While doing them though I noticed a small stone chip on her nose , oh well such is life, roll on her replacement.

Hello mate.

Its looking extremely highly likely to be a replacement car rather than any other mods or changes to this one. I suppose the fins were a ''practice session'' as her replacement will be either another 280 or, if my promotion at work comes off (which I only just found out about this morning) then it could well be a 350.

How much are those AMG fins? They look great. Are they difficult for self-install since the wiper jets are on them? Thanks.

I paid about £80.00 for the pair. They are quite straight forward to install because you can see, quite easily, how the existing ones come off and its just a reverse of that.

I only swapped out the washer jets because I did not want to be bothered aligning the new ones so, I suppose that put maybe another 10 minutes per side on the job. One thing I did notice though, the washer jets on both the old and new had wires coming from them and I dont have heated jets .

BYW, for the record I do still have the car. I relented in the end and couldnt bear to part with her because she is still my

Hi Portzy,

Is it difficult to change to the new ones?

The price of AMG Fins is quite expensive here. I have checked one shop and the price is HK$2000 which is around GBP130.
