| Hi All I hope this hasn't been posted before but I thought I'd post some photos of installing the AMG fins. I also purchased the fins from the ebay link given earlier (http://cgi.ebay.com/Mercedes-Benz-AM...dZViewItem)and the service was very prompt and I received the items lightning fast! install fins.jpg The install should take about 10 minutes. There are three screws to remove(circled in green) but requires a screwdriver with a star pattern to open (sorry, i don't know the actual name for the shape, but it looks like a star!). Once the screws are off, there are several clips (circled red) that need to be pressed in order to remove the grill from the car. There is also a electric plug that needs to be removed (purple circle) by pressing on the plug. The trickiest part is the washer lead itself which is firmly pressed in (circled blue). A firm pull should be able to release it. Installing the new grill is just a matter of the above in the reverse order. The picture depicts the passenger side (I live in Australia). The other side requires removal of a collector tray before the grill can be accessed. Furthermore, on the other side, the washer lead is longer and traverses the whole grill. Removal is essentially the same. Hope this helps. |

| Torx is the name of the screwdriver bit needed, type 20 if memory serves me correct.

| thanks for sharing, quick question for all: several after market fins now come in black finish. would traditional silver/alu finish suit better a black obsidian body color, or would you recomment black on black? thanks/ir-ops |
